Richard Schroeder Jr., 53, of Georgia, was heading south on State Route 611 when he veered into the right shoulder and then back on the road, hitting the driver's side corner of a northbound Subaru Crosstrek around 1:43 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, PA State Police said.
The Subaru slid backwards off the roadway and came to a rest on someone's lawn, where Mikaela M. Jones, of Emmaus, was pronounced dead, police said.
A 4-year-old girl and 29-year-old man in the car, along with Schroeder, were taken to St. Luke's Anderson campus.
